$20.00 downloadable self-paced class
In this course we will be oil glazing over and image transfer on vintage linens. I will show you how to do an image transfer that works. We will then go into painting with oil glazes, which are transparent colors using oil paint and walnut or linseed oil. If you want to use acrylics instead, you can add Golden Retarder, which will work with the acrylics to do the glazing. After the transparent glazing we will add a bit of white and the painting will become more opague and will lose the photograph look and look more like a painting. It's a wonderful way to work whether you are brand new to portraits or not. I show you how to take your vintage linens to create a beautiful collage with plastered lace added. The final touch is the stitching. I show you several stitches that are my favorite and you will come away with a beautiful new heirloom piece of art.
