INTRODUCTORY PRICE OF $75 (will go to original price of $85. July 20, 2025)
In this class we will be painting flowers in both oils and acrylics. There is 7+ hours of video instruction. We will be working both expressively and abstractly. My main focus is painting portraits of people. I feel like my flowers are portraits as well….alive and expressive.
There are exercises as well as 4 full length projects. One project in particular, A Vintage Floral Wall, we go deep into the layers. Layers of history to create something rich and mysterious requiring us to destroy some of what we created to make the painting successful. Lots of fun and experimenting as well as important art principles demonstrations through color mixing and values.
