I have traveled to Morocco several times and my last visit I purchased these old Talisman Pouches. They are so exquisite and are the inspiration for this class! I wanted to make my own version of them. Instead of leather, we will be making them with painted fabric and cold wax application. It transforms the fabric to look and feel like soft vintage leather. In addition to the pouch, we will create some very interesting masks made with paperclay to adorn the pouch. These pouches can be worn as a neck piece or hung on the wall.
